Phobias and Anxiety She is very frightened of bicycles, skateboards, and any loud or even moderate sounds. She is afraid of medium- and large-sized dogs—she tries to avoid contact and may bark or show signs of stress. Leash Behaviour She often pulls on the leash, especially in unfamiliar places. She cannot be let off-leash: she will run away at the first opportunity and responds poorly to the commands “come” or “heel.” Undesirable Habits Outdoors She picks up and licks various rubbish, food scraps, and other items from the ground. We would like to train her not to take anything from the ground without a command. Reaction to People She may bark at passers-by, especially if someone reaches out a hand to greet her. When the owners come home, she becomes over-excited: she jumps up, scratches with her paws, and does not calm down immediately.
