general obedience he is a rescue dog and has a wonderful temperament but is not obedient. I have another small dog who is obedient but I have had her since she was a puppy. I have had the bigger dog for about 18 months and live in the country. I would like to be able to let him off the lead when we go for walks and for him to stay with me. He needs the exercise but t the moment funs off when he is let off the lead - he always comes home within about 30 mins but this is not good!
