“There are honestly not enough words to articulate how wonderful it was having Telma look after my cat!!! I just moved to Lisbon and was invited on a 10-day trip around Portugal, and my biggest concern was finding someone in my new country and new city that I would feel truly comfortable having care for my elderly cat and come into my home while I was away. Telma eliminated every single one of those concerns almost immediately. As part of her service, she comes to meet you and your pet before the trip, which made such a difference in establishing trust and making sure everyone - especially my cat - felt comfortable. Once I was away, Telma sent thoughtful updates and a series of photos EVERY SINGLE DAY. I have had many cat sitters over the years, but I have never encountered someone who so clearly and genuinely loves animals. She understands what it means to be a pet parent, and she treated my cat with the same care and attention I would have given her myself. Not once during my 10-day trip was I worried about my cat. That is an incredible feeling to be able to say. She also noticed my plants needed some attention, watered them, and even offered thoughtful suggestions for caring for my aging cat. She went above and beyond in ways I never expected. I truly could not recommend Telma more highly. She is, without question, the best cat sitter I have ever had, and I will absolutely be hiring her again and again. If you are lucky enough to have the opportunity to work with her, I genuinely wouldn't hesitate.”
